The Template is a complete configuration of a chart, it will save all characteristics of
a chart including systems, indicators, planetary lines, aspects, colors and formats.
To save a Template double click on the chart and select Template, Save or Save as new. Save
will replace the actual Template in use with the parameters of the current
chart. Save as new
will create a new Template with the parameters of the chart in use.
To open a Template double click on the chart and select Template and
select in open, the Template list will appear, double
click on the Template that you want.
To open a Template you can also press the F8 key on your keyboard.
When your chart is using a Template the Template name will appear on the bottom
left
corner of the chart, you can also click in this area to open the Template menu.
Any chart with the option AUTOREPLACE set ON every time that this
Template is modified even by another chart.
Example : Template 1 has a moving average of 7 periods, we open the Template 1 on
chart A
and B, chart A and B now have a moving average of 7 periods, we now set the Template
AUTOREPLACE option ON in both charts. On Chart 1 we change the moving average to 9 periods
and we click to save the Template 1, this will save the Template 1 with a moving average
of 9 periods and will update the Chart 2 with this new configuration because
Chart 1 uses
the Template 1 and has the AUTOREPLACE option ON.
To delete a Template click on delete, the Template window will open, double click on the
Template to delete. All charts that use that Template will have their Template set to none.
To stop a link of a chart with a Template double click on the chart, click Template, No
Template.
