Bar Types

OHLC bars - these are the most common bars that plots the open and close as a small horizontal line and a vertical line is the range of the bar (low to high). Available on all our programs.

HLC bars - these are almost identical as the OHLC bars, they just do not plot the open small horizontal line. Available on all our programs.

Candlestick bars - Candlestick bars are thought to have been developed in the 18th century by Munehisa Homma, a Japanese rice trader. They were introduced to the Western world by Steve Nison in his book, Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques. Bar has the wider body draw from the open and close prices and the lower and upper shadow. Available on all our programs.

Line chart - The chart is a siple line draw from close to close. Available on all our programs.

Volumetric bar - The bars width vary with the volume, higher volume wider is the bar.Available on Fibonacc and Fibonacci/Galctic Trader programs, real time or end of day.
